FINANCIAL STEWARDSHIP

 

At ACTS CHURCH of MARICOPA, your giving is sent to the bank account of Pastor Jonas Croissant who is in charge of managing church finances for five purposes: 

 

1. Ministry expenses (e.g. purchases of Bibles, hymnals, discipleship books, children's office supplies, chairs, tables, meals, website fees, audio-video accessories) — Corinthians 16:1-2; Acts 20:33-35.

2. Supporting the poor, orphans, and widows (e.g. we have a Cameroon orphanage ministry pastor partner) — Proverbs 19:17; 2 Corinthians 9:8-9,12; Galatians 2:10; James 1:27; 1 Timothy 3:3-9.

3. Offering for the preaching and teaching work of ministry — 1 Timothy 5:17-18; Galatians 6:6; 1 Corinthians 9:11-14.

4. Supporting foreign missionaries in France and Cameroon — 1 Corinthians 16:1-2; 2 Corinthians 8:18-19; 1 Corinthians 9:7.

5. Saving for future expenses (potential building purchases or rents) — Proverbs 6:6-8.

IMPORTANT NOTES ON TAXES

 

The offerings are sent to the bank account of Pastor Jonas Croissant who pays taxes for all offerings received and oversees the finances of the church. The church is currently not a 501(c)(3) Church which means that (a) the church is not considered an Arizona corporation, (b) that givers will not receive a yearly tax deduction, (c) that the church is not accountable to the state for the content of its preaching and the selection criteria of its members and leaders.
